Unless you have been going to the same stylist for years or have had your extensions installed before by me, consultations are important to safely choose the right person to fufill your hair services. You will get much of the important information you need to decide on what type of color or extensions will be right for you. You will also be able to discuss pricing and hair length and texture. Each consultation usually lasts about 15-20 minutes. Please feel free to ask ANY questions or concerns you may have.

Yes, hair extensions are custom ordered, I do not keep hair extension stock at the salon.


A full head of extensions takes about 2 hours to install, and 1 hour to do a re-fusion moveup.

I use the best hair available on the market, Aqua Hair Extensions. I also use  Maxtrand hair, which you can order yourself at www.Maxtrand.com I know this because I've used MANY different brands and have found a few that my clients are the most happy with. The hair comes from a few different countries including: Europe, Asia, India, and Italy. Remy hair or Cuticle hair means the all strands of the hair run the same direction. Cheap hair, the cuticles do not run the same way and this is why they frizz from the friction of the cuticles rubbing the wrong way.

My personal opinion is that cold-fusion hair extensions are the safest and best method available today,
along with clip-in extensions. Neither damage your hair and are easy to install and remove, and do not require heating agents.


The durability of your extensions depends on how well you take care of your new hair and how often you style it. The extension hair has a shiny coat that seals and protects the hair so they stay soft and shiny as long as possible. Your extension hair cannot replenish it's shine and oil like your real hair so you may want to replace your hair if it becomes dry or brittle. The average length of wear also depends on what type of method we choose. Individual methods are 6-12 months with proper maintenance.


You will want to wash your hair about every other day to every 3 days to replenish moisture to the extensions. Sulfate free shampoos/ conditioners will insure the longevity of the bonds as sulfate shampoo/ conditioners will start to soften the bonds with every wash. Again the extensions are coated by a special shine that protects them and keeps your strands soft and silky. This coat will break down through many washes and styles. You can curl, flat iron, and blow dry your extensions as you would your own hair. Use extra caution and keep all heat styling tools aways from bonds because they will heat up since they are aluminum. When drying hair, it is best air dry half way before using blow dryer. Brushing individual extensions when very wet can cause breakage or bonds to slip off your hair. Allowing them some time to harden back up before brushing will insure strong attachment of your bonds after washing. You will need to brush your hair several times a day to prevent and or reduce tangling. When going to sleep at night, pull your hair back in a loose ponytail or braid. This will also help keep your hair from tangling. You may also want to use a satin pillowcase which has been found very good in preventing tangles.

Yes as long as your stylist is careful not to get color onto the extensions.


Yes, but No. Many extension companies say you can color the hair but I do not recommend trying to color the extensions. Because the extensions have that shiny coat, color doesn't usually penetrate the cortex to hold the color correctly. As the extensions get washed, the color it was dyed to will fade fast and or if your a blonde could bleed onto your hair. Dying also damages the hair that was once shiny and smooth, it will feel dry and rough. It usually never feels the same again. In some cases you can dye them but that will depend on what color you need.

Yes as long as you keep your hair in a braid, or out of the way so it does not tangle. It is best to use a leave in conditioner before and after going into water.

No. Extensions will not damage your hair as long as you properly maintain your extensions and use care when brushing and styling.Salon Moselle carries products to keep your hair in good condition.


Your first night your extensions might feel a little tight. Within a day or two there should be no feeling of discomfort. I will be sure that your extensions are comfortable for you when you leave.

I encourage you to shop around for prices and methods for extensions. When extensions are installed it is a very tedious and time-consuming process. My prices are very affordable compared to salons in the area. You may be able to find cheaper hair, but you may not be able to re-use the hair because of its quality.
